CarLoft Frankfurt Hotel: Park Your Car on the Balcony

Frankfurt am Main has introduced one of Europe’s most innovative hospitality concepts: the b’mine Frankfurt Airport hotel. Its signature CarLoft rooms allow guests to drive into a special lift and park their vehicle directly on the balcony. The result is a blend of comfort, spectacle, and practicality — a concept that has already attracted global attention.

How the CarLoft Works

After checking in, guests enter the CarLift, an elevator that carries both car and driver. Within a minute, the vehicle arrives on the CarLoggia, a private terrace in front of the room. Instead of leaving the car in a distant garage, guests have it right outside their sliding doors.

Every CarLoggia is equipped with an EV charging station, making the concept especially appealing to drivers of electric cars. Several additional charging points are also available in the underground garage.

Prices and Services

The hotel offers 241 rooms, of which 40 are CarLofts. Standard rooms typically start lower, while CarLofts are marketed at a premium. Travel media have reported nightly rates for CarLofts at around €250, though prices vary depending on season and availability. Breakfast costs €28 per person. Guests in regular rooms pay €25 per night for underground parking, while CarLoft residents park directly on their balcony at no extra charge.

On the 12th floor, the restaurant and bar THE ROOF offers panoramic views of the airport runways. A dedicated conference level on the 11th floor can even host vehicles or large exhibits brought up via the CarLift — a feature that distinguishes the hotel in the events market.

Who It’s For

The CarLoft concept appeals to a wide mix of guests.

“We are making these exclusive moments accessible and visible for our guests,” — says Matthias Beinlich, CEO of b’mine hotels.

Business travelers value the security and speed, while leisure visitors often book simply for the unforgettable experience.

More Than a Gimmick

Industry observers have praised the idea as both stylish and practical. Media reviews highlight that, at roughly €250 per night, the CarLoft is surprisingly affordable for such a design-driven concept. Beyond spectacle, it offers genuine convenience for drivers who want their car close at hand.

Bottom Line

At b’mine Frankfurt, your car becomes part of the stay. Whether for business, leisure, or novelty, the CarLoft provides guests with a private, secure, and memorable experience. With rates starting around €250, it redefines what an airport hotel can be.
